Earning her degree in Dental Hygiene from the inaugural class at Hagerstown Community College, Katie began her career with Cornerstone Dental in July of 2016. Not only is Katie very dedicated to her profession, but focuses on building long term relationships with her patients and doing her part to help every patient achieve optimal oral health.

In her free time, Katie enjoys everything outdoors and spending time with family and friends - especially her husband and two pugs! An avid gardener, during the spring and summer you will often find Katie in her garden tending to her vegetables.

As a child Katie admits that she had a fear of the dentist stating that being afraid of the dentist has made her “a better hygienist” especially when providing care for small children. Her intuitive nature with children is an amazing gift turning the shyest child into a dental enthusiast.

Katie finds the joy in everyday and her warmth and dedication to her patient’s is evident in every smile.
