Root Canal Therapy

Advanced treatment

Much of the fear that accompanies the thought of a “root canal” can now be greatly reduced with the introduction of the Sirona ORTHOPHOS SL 3D into Dr. Wright’s practice. Before any patient undergoes a root canal at Cornerstone Dental they will routinely receive this specialized CAT scan as part of their treatment to ensure that endodontic therapy is a viable option for the treatment of the tooth.

Oftentimes teeth may be fractured or have additional canals that cannot be easily seen with conventional 2D x-rays these canal are often missed requiring retreatment or extraction of the tooth. This technology better enhances our ability to reduce or eliminate unnecessary treatment.
